Markethill, Armagh

Markethill is a village in County Armagh. It is within the townlands of Coolmillish and Edenykennedy, in the civil parish of Mullaghbrack. The village developed during the Plantation as a town for Scottish and English migrants. Markethill Courthouse was built in 1842 to the designs of Thomas Duff. The village is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
