Market Weighton, Yorkshire
Market Weighton is a small town in Yorkshire, in the East Riding. Notable architecture includes: All Saints Church, parts of which are Norman, the Londesborough Arms (an 18th-century coaching inn), a Wesleyan chapel, a Methodist chapel and a high street with many 19th-century buildings. Each May the town celebrates Giant Community Day, a festival in a celebration of William Bradley, the tallest ever Briton. The town is within the council area of East Riding of Yorkshire.
