Margaret's Camp, Gloucestershire

Margaret's Camp is a moated site with what survives of an associated system of water management features, situated on the southern outskirts of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. The name is claimed to relate to the Battle of Tewkesbury (1471), Queen Margaret supposedly having spent the night before the battle in the area. The date and precise nature of the site are a matter of conjecture. It is within the council area of Tewkesbury (Gloucestershire).
