Manor House, Cambridgeshire / Huntingdonshire

Manor House is a late 16th-century stone manor house in Papworth St Agnes, lying on the Cambridgeshire - Huntingdonshire border. The house was built around 1585, possibly for William Mallory. The original late 16th-century house survives as a hall, alongside 17th-century additions and a 20th-century servants wing. The Tudor house was built on the site of an older manor house which stood within a rectangular moated site and the Tudor house. This moat was remodelled and became part of the garden of the house. The Cambridgeshire - Huntingdonshire county border runs through the moated site. The house is within the council area of South Cambridgeshire (Cambridgeshire).
