Manor House, Cambridgeshire

Manor House (aka The Burystead) is a late-Elizabethan house in Wilburton, Cambridgeshire. A medium sized red brick mansion built for Sir John Jolles. The main structure dates to approximately 1600 on the site of a former priory from the 11th century, with later additions and alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. For several hundred years, the prominent local landowners were the Pell family. The house is a private residence and is not open to the public. It is within the council area of East Cambridgeshire (Cambridgeshire).
