Mancetter, Warwickshire

Mancetter is a village in Warwickshire, south-west of the crossing of Watling Street over the River Anker. Mancetter is the site of a Roman fort and the Roman settlement of Manduessedum. It has been proposed as the possible location of final defeat of Boudica by Gaius Suetonius Paulinus. The village is within the council area of North Warwickshire (Warwickshire).
