Maiden Bower, Bedfordshire
Maiden Bower is a large Iron Age hillfort near Totternhoe, Bedfordshire. The hillfort is principally defined by a single circuit of bank averaging c.700ft in diameter and enclosing a level area of about 12 acres. The bank survives up to 10ft in height within a hedgerow belt. It is within the council area of Central Bedfordshire.
