Magnis, Herefordshire

Magnis (aka Magnae Dobunnorum) was a Romano-British town, located near present-day Kenchester in Herefordshire. The town was shaped as an irregular hexagon, with a single main street along the line of the main Roman Road through the area. The ruins include a Roman temple and an octagonal cistern filled by a spring. The ruined town is within the council area of County of Herefordshire.
