Magirr is a southern suburb of Strabane, lying south of the River Mourne in County Tyrone. It lies within the townland of Magirr, in the civil parish of Urney. The eastern end of Magiir townland has long formed part of the the Bridge End area of Strabane. Much of the rest of the townland has been developed for suburban housing since the mid 20th century. The area around Urny Road is sometimes known as Riversdale after the 19th-century Riversdale House. The southern part of this area comprises the Lisnafin Park and Ardnalee Park housing developments. The area is within the council area of Derry City and Strabane.
