Magheramore Rath, Londonderry

Magheramore Rath is a counterscarp rath in the townland of Magheramore, County Londonderry. It comprises an interior 95ft in diameter, enclosed by a bank, ditch & outer bank. It is considered to be the remains of a high-status, semi-defensive farmstead, dating from the period AD 500-1,000. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Causeway Coast and Glens.
