Magheralin, Down
Magheralin is a village, lying on a tributary of the River Lagan in County Down. It lies at the intersection of the townlands of Ballymagin, Ballynadrone, Ballymakeonan and Drumo And Drumcro, in the civil parish of Magheralin. The village developed around a crossroads on the Moiran to Lurgan road (A3). The old Magheralin National School dates from 1884. The Old Graveyard contains the ruins of the former Church of Ireland parish church, abandoned in 1845 when the current church was built across the road. St Patrick's and St Ronan's Church (RC) dates from 1843. The village is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
