Magheraglass Church, Tyrone

Magheraglass Church is a ruined mediæval church in the townland of Magheraglass, County Tyrone. There are 2 elements to this site: a circular 30ft diameter enclosure defined to the east by a 5ft high stone wall and elsewhere by a steep scarp; and the remains of a church situated on the summit of the domed interior. The church ruins consist of a rectangular building 57ft long x 23ft wide. The walls are 3ft wide, stone-faced with rubble core & stand at best 3ft high. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Mid Ulster.
