Maes Howe, Orkney
Maes Howe is a prehistoric chambered tomb near Stenness on Mainland, Orkney. The cairn lies on a large platform, with a large surrounding flat-bottomed ditch and an outer turf bank. It is within the council area of Orkney Islands.
