Lyme Park is a mansion house surrounded by formal gardens and a deer park, situated near Disley, Cheshire. The house dates from the latter part of the 16th century, but was transformed by the architect Leoni into an ornate Italian palace in the 1720s. Formal gardens were created and developed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The house is in the care of the National Trust. It is within the council area of Cheshire East.
