Lulworth Castle, Dorset

Lulworth Castle is an early 17th-century hunting lodge, erected in the style of a revival fortified castle, located in East Lulworth, Dorset. It was built as a hunting lodge around 1608 for Henry Howard, Lord Bindon. It has been remodelled several times subsequently. Gutted by fire in 1929, the castle was left as a roofless ruin until restoration work from the 1970s. It is within the council area of Dorset.
