Ludgershall, Wiltshire

Ludgershall is a town in Wiltshire. After the building of Ludgershall Castle in the late 11th century, the village grew to its south and became a mediæval borough. Among the oldest buildings are the Queen's Head public house, from the 16th and 18th centuries, and 17th-century cottages on Castle Street. The town is within the council area of Wiltshire.
