Lowesby, Leicestershire
Lowesby is a hamlet and a deserted mediæval village in Leicestershire. The present-day hamlet is centred around the Georgian mansion Lowesby Hall and All Saints' Church. The deserted village's earthworks cover a large area to the north of Lowesby Hall. Though mentioned in Domesday, Lowesby was converted to pasture and largely deserted in 1487, though All Saints Church survived. The site is within the council area of Harborough (Leicestershire).
