Lower Walton, Cheshire

Lower Walton (or Walton Inferior) is a suburban village in Cheshire. It lies either side of the Manchester Ship Canal, the canal having been built through the village. It lies to the west of Stockton Heath with which it is now contiguous. It is within the council area of Warrington.
