Loughgall, Armagh
Loughgall is a small village, close to, and named from, Lough Gall in County Armagh. It is within the townlands of Levalleglish and Loughgall, in the civil parish of Loughgall. The Loughgall Manor Estate was established by the Cope family during the 17th century, having been granted the land as part of the Plantation. The village was laid out by the Cope family in the 18th century. It retains many fine 18th and early 19th century houses. The Manor House is a Tudor-Revival style mansion, built around 1840. The village is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
