Lough Neagh, Tyrone / Londonderry / Antrim / Down / Armagh
Lough Neagh is a huge freshwater lough which lies in five counties: County Tyrone, County Londonderry, County Antrim, County Down and County Armagh. Its main inflows are the Upper River Bann and Blackwater, and its main outflow is the Lower Bann. There are several small islands, including Ram's Island, Coney Island and Croaghan Island. It is the largest lake by area (148 square miles) in the British Isles. It lies within the council areas of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Lisburn and Castlereagh, Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon and Mid Ulster.
