Longridge, Lancashire
Longridge is a market town in Lancashire, at the western end of Longridge Fell. The town mostly developed during the 18th century, especially after the opening of Preston and Longridge Railway in 1840, with quarrying being a major industry. The town is within the council area of Ribble Valley (Lancashire).
