Longport, Staffordshire
Longport is an urban area to the north-west of Burslem, Staffordshire. John Brindley established the first pottery factory in this area in 1773, the works being acquired by John Davenport in 1794 and the settlement growing around these. The It is within the council area of Stoke-on-Trent.
