Loftus, Yorkshire
Loftus (formerly Lofthouse) is a town in Yorkshire, in the North Riding. It lies between the Cleveland Hills and the coast. The Oddfellows Hall was built in 1874 as the meeting place of the local Oddfellows society. Loftus Town Hall was commissioned by Lawrence Dundas, 3rd Earl of Zetland, and opened in 1879. The town is within the council area of Redcar and Cleveland.
