Lochleven Castle, Kinross-shire
Lochleven Castle is a ruined castle on Castle Island in Loch Leven in Kinross-shire. It is believed to date from around 1300. Mary, Queen of Scots, was imprisoned here in 1567–68. The castle is within the council area of Perth and Kinross.
