Llantrithyd, Glamorgan
Llantrithyd is a village in Glamorgan. The church of St Illtyd has 12th-century origins and was rebuilt in the 14th century. Inside the church is an elaborate tomb of John Bassett (died 1554) and his second wife Elizabeth (died 1596). Llantrithyd Place is a ruined 16th-century manor house. The village is within the council area of The Vale of Glamorgan.
