Llanilltern, Glamorgan
Llanilltern is an ancient chapelry which subsequently became a civil parish (1866-1974), situated to the north-east of Cardiff, Glamorgan. St Elldeyrn's Church was a chapel of ease for rural families who lived far from the ancient parish's mother church in St Fagans. The name remains in common use, not least by the Capel Llanilltern junction of the M4. The area is within the council area of Cardiff.
