Little Stanmore, Middlesex

Little Stanmore is an ancient parish in Middlesex. The parish included the western part of the town of Edgware. The mediæval St Lawrence's Church was reconstructed by James Brydges, 1st Duke of Chandos, in the baroque style. The area today is largely covered by Canons park area of Edgeware.
