Little Lever, Lancashire
Little Lever is a large village in Lancashire, lying north of the River Irwell and east of the River Croal. Once small hamlet, it was transformed in the 19th century becoming a centre for cotton mills, paper mills, bleach works, terracotta works, a rope works and several collieries.
