Little Bittering, Norfolk
Little Bittering is a deserted mediæval village in Norfolk. St Peter's Church stands beside a large moat from the interior of which late 11th century were recovered. The village earthworks lie north-east of the moated site. Manor House Farm lies to the north. Bittering Hall was demolished in the 1980s and now only a few buildings form the present-day hamlet of Bittering. The site is within the council area of Breckland (Norfolk).
