Lissue Rath, Antrim
Lissue Rath is a rath in the townland of Teraghafeeva, near the city of Lisburn, County Antrim. The monument consists of a raised platform, 174ft x 210ft, enclosed by a bank and outer ditch. Excavation by Professor Gerhart Bersu in 1946-7 showed that the enclosure was a complex Early Christian farmstead. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Lisburn and Castlereagh.
