Lisnisky, Armagh
Lisnisky is a suburban area in the east of Portadown, County Armagh. It is within the townland of Lisnisky, in the civil parish of Seagoe. Lisnisky townland remained largely rural into the 20th century, though a settlement did develop along the main east-west road (now Lurgan Road, A27) by the mid 20th century. Much of this was demolished in the construction of Craigavon Area Hospital in the townland (opened 1972). Since then the rest of the western part of the townland has seen further suburban development. The area is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
