Lisnaskea, Fermanagh
Lisnaskea is a market town in County Fermanagh. It lies within the townlands of Lisoneill, Castle Balfour Demesne and Killygullan, in the civil parish of Aghalurcher. The settlement developed around Castle Balfour, built by the Scottish planter Sir James Balfour from 1618. The village came under the control of the Earls of Erne in 1821. They established the market in the town. The town is within the council area of Fermanagh and Omagh.
