Lisnasharragh, Down
Lisnasharragh is an urban area, now usually considered an outer south-eastern suburb of Belfast, County Down. It is within the townland of Lisnasharragh, in the civil parish of Knockbreda. Lisnasharragh townland remained rural until the 1950s, from when it was developed with a mixture of housing and industry. Prior to 2015 it was part of Castlereagh district and is often considered part of a broader Castlereagh area. It became part of Belfast Council area in 2015. The area is within the council area of Belfast.
