Lisnagelvin, Londonderry

Lisnagelvin is an urban area in the Waterside area of Londonderry, County Londonderry. It is within the townlands of Lisnagelvin, Ardnabrocky and Altnagelvin, in the civil parish of Clondermot. Aside from Lisnagelvin House, the townland of Lisnagelvin remained almost entirely rural until the 1960s. Since then the townland has been completely developed and the Lisnagelvin name now used for a larger urban area which extends into Ardnabrocky and Altnagelvin townlands. The Londonderry Free Presbyterian Church on Lisnagelvin Road dates from the 1980s. The area is within the council area of Derry City and Strabane.
