Lisnagade Fort, Down

Lisnagade Fort is a trivallate rath in the townland of Lisnagade, County Down. The monument consists of a central platform (around 190ft in diameter) enclosed by 3 banks with 2 intervening deep ditches and a possible 3rd outer ditch now filled in. This is connected by banks and ditches to a smaller rath 100ft to the north. The monument has been partly planted with trees to form a landscape feature. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
