Leyburn, Yorkshire
Leyburn is a small market town in Yorkshire, in the North Riding. It lies north of the River Ure in Wensleydale. Leyburn grew following the granting of a market charter in 1686. Leyburn Shawl is an escarpment located to the west of the town, which provides panoramic views of Wensleydale. The town is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
