Leckhampton, Gloucestershire

Leckhampton is a suburban village to the south of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The old village o stands at the foot of Leckhampton Hill, around the mediæval church of St Peter's. There was significant residential development during the 19th and 20th centuries, the village effectively becoming a suburb of Cheltenham. Leckhampton Court is a mediæval manor house dating from about 1320. It is within the council area of Cheltenham (Gloucestershire).
