Learmount Park, Londonderry
Learmount Park is a historic estate in County Londonderry. Learmount Castle is a mock-Tudor style castle built around 1830 by estate-owner Henry Barré Beresford to designs by John B Keane. A former house, dating from around 1710, was incorporated as an east wing. The Beresford family sold Learmount Park in 1944 to the Northern Ireland Department of Agriculture, since when much of the demesne has been afforested. The estate is within the council area of Derry City and Strabane.
