Larbert, Stirlingshire
Larbert is a small town in Stirlingshire., lying in the Forth Valley above the River Carron. From the late 18th century heavy industry underpinned the town's economy. The town has latterly experienced considerable growth as a commuter town. Stenhousemuir lies directly east of Larbert, with both settlements being contiguous. Larbert Old Parish Church stands on the western approaches to Larbert, above the River Carron. The town is within the council area of Falkirk.
