Lanyon Quoit, Cornwall

Lanyon Quoit is a Neolithic chambered long barrow near Madron, Cornwall. It comprises four granite upright stones, three of which support a large capstone which lies at the northern end of low 90ft mound. At the southern end are the remains of three cists. The monument is located in an area of open ground that is an extensive relict landscape of prehistoric, mediæval and post-mediæval date. It is within the council area of Cornwall.
