Lansdown, Gloucestershire

Lansdown is an urban area in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The area was developed in the 19th century by two family groups: the Thompsons and later the Jearrads. The Lansdown Estate was designed by J.B. Papworth. Lansdown Crescent is an immense crescent in the Georgian Classical style. It is within the council area of Cheltenham (Gloucestershire).
