Lamberhurst is a village in valley of River Teise. The Teise forms the Kent/Sussex border and the village lies on either side of the border. The village has many 17th- and 18th-century buildings. The parish church is a 14th/15th-century building dedicated to St Mary (Kent). East of the village is the 14th-century Scotney Castle (Sussex). The village is within the council area of Tunbridge Wells (Kent).
