Laggan Camp, Wigtownshire
Laggan Camp is a prehistoric fort between the Fell of Carleton and the sea in Wigtownshire. The pear-shaped fort occupies a strong position on the summit of a steep-sided hillock, connected to Carleton Fell on the north-west. It is defended by double ramparts and a medial ditch, drawn round the flanks of the hill. It is within the council area of Dumfries and Galloway.
