Kirton in Lindsey, Lincolnshire
Kirton in Lindsey (also abbreviated to Kirton Lindsey) is a market town in Lincolnshire, in the Parts of Lindsey. Catherine Parr, the sixth wife of Henry VIII lived at Kirton-in-Lindsey after she married her first husband, Sir Edward Burgh. Kirton in Lindsey Town Hall is built in the Palladian style and was opened in 1899. The town is within the council area of North Lincolnshire.
