Kirkistown Castle, Down

Kirkistown Castle is a 17th-century three-storey tower house and bawn, located just inland of the coast of the Ards Peninsula in the townland of Kirkistown, County Down. It was reputedly built by Roland Savage in 1622. It was extensively remodelled in a neo-gothic style in the early 19th century. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Ards and North Down.
