Kirk Hallam is a village in Derbyshire. Formerly a small agricultural village, Kirk Hallam's population expanded dramatically from the 1950s when large housing developments were undertaken. It is now contiguous with Ilkeston to its east. It is within the council area of Erewash (Derbyshire).
