Kircubbin, Down
Kircubbin is a village, lying on Stangford Lough, on the west coast of the Ards Peninsula in County Down. It is within the townland of Kircubbin, in the civil parish of Inishargy. The settlement was developed by James Bailie in the late 18th century. The first Presbyterian meeting house was built on the shore in 1777. The current church, on the same site, dates from 1861. The village is within the council area of Ards and North Down.
