Kings Weston, Gloucestershire
Kings Weston (formerly Weston Regis) is a former hamlet that is now an outer western suburb of Bristol. The area was developed as part of the Lawrence Weston housing estate from the late 1940s, much of the development being on the northern part of Kings Weston Park. Kings Weston House (1719) was designed by Sir John Vanbrugh for lawyer and politician Edward Southwell. The area is within the council area of Bristol.
