King Stone, Warwickshire
The King Stone is a monolith (standing stone), part of the Rollright Stones complex, in the far south of Warwickshire. The stone is believed to be a Bronze Age burial marker and lies just north of the border with Oxfordshire. The other monuments which comprise the Rollright Stones are the Whispering Knights neolithic dolmen (Oxfordshire) and the King's Men stone circle (Oxfordshire). The King Stone is within the council area of Stratford-on-Avon (Warwickshire).
