King Lud's Intrenchments, Leicestershire

King Lud's Intrenchments is a prehistoric linear boundary earthwork which forms part of the parish boundary between Sproxton and Croxton Kerrial in Leicestershire. The earthworks comprise a linear bank and ditch system, and a possibly related Bronze Age barrow. Though usually considered a Bronze Age feature, it may date from a later era. The monument is within the council area of Melton (Leicestershire).
